Quantib is now part of DeepHealth
Quantib was acquired in 2022 by RadNet, Inc., a leading provider of diagnostic imaging in the United States, then in 2023 became part of DeepHealth, a wholly owned subsidiary of RadNet. As a global leader in AI-powered health informatics, DeepHealth aims to push the boundaries of what’s possible in healthcare by leveraging advanced AI to enable operational efficiency, clinical confidence, and better delivery of care, while elevating the experience for care teams through human-centered, intuitive technology. With a mission to empower breakthroughs in care through imaging, DeepHealth builds on and enhances the capabilities of the companies it has integrated and rebranded.
Quantib (short for Quantitative Imaging Biomarkers) began as a spin-off of Erasmus MC, a global academic center in The Netherlands. The company developed software enabling automatic analysis of medical imaging data, such as MRI scans, with the aim of shortening and improving the accuracy of the diagnosis process. Using advanced machine learning techniques, Quantib’s products detected changes in tissue sooner than would be possible with the naked eye. After its founding, the company grew to serve customers worldwide, with offices in Europe and the US, and became a leader in AI software for radiologists, with multiple machine-learning products cleared by FDA and CE. Solutions included Quantib Prostate, Quantib ND and Quantib Brain, which have now been integrated into DeepHealth Prostate and DeepHealth Brain.
